Complete your glucose tolerance test from the comfort of your own home, with the added benefit of dedicated time with an experienced & dedicated midwife.

Your in-home GTT appointment includes blood sample collection throughout the two-hour testing period, alongside an extended midwifery consultation tailored to your needs.

Use this time to ask questions, explore topics such as pregnancy, birth preparation and newborn care, or discuss any concerns you may have. It’s an opportunity to receive personalised education, guidance and support while completing an important pregnancy screening — all without needing to travel to a pathology collection centre.

Investment: $350

Eligible families with a valid Medicare card may be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $113, bringing the out-of-pocket cost to $237 after the rebate.

Medicare rebates are available for eligible families, subject to Medicare eligibility criteria.

Before your appointment: A GTT requires fasting and specific preparation. Instructions will be provided before your visit, so you know how to prepare and when to eat and drink.
