Childbirth Education

Prepare for birth with confidence

Birth is one of life's biggest transitions, and feeling prepared can make all the difference.

MILC Midwifery Childbirth Classes are designed to help you and your birth partner feel informed, confident and ready to navigate labour, birth and the early hours of parenthood. Led by an Endorsed Midwife, these small, interactive classes combine current evidence with practical skills to help you understand your options and make informed decisions throughout your birth journey.

Together, we'll explore how labour unfolds, comfort measures, birth partner support, common interventions, and what to expect in those precious first hours after your baby arrives. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions, practise hands-on techniques and discuss topics that matter most to you.

These classes aren't about creating the "perfect" birth plan—they're about helping you understand the process of birth, build confidence in your body's ability, and feel prepared to adapt if your birth takes an unexpected path.

Whether you're planning a spontaneous labour, induction, epidural, caesarean birth or hoping for a VBAC, you'll leave feeling more informed, empowered and ready to welcome your baby.

Classes are held in a relaxed, welcoming environment where every question is encouraged, and every family is supported.
